About us
To increase the share of girls, and especially girls from multicultural backgrounds, in organised sport, and to develop certified female instructors.
Our vision
To increase the share of girls, and especially girls from multicultural backgrounds, in organised sport, and to develop certified female instructors.
Our philosophy
Creating good associations with sport to motivate more girls to take part in organised activity. By giving them good experiences and positive memories, we help more girls want to stay active.
Our path
We follow the girls for three years. Year 1 is the school project, where they get their first football lessons in the schoolyard. Year 2 is the bridges, a free after-school offer with a meal and coaches they trust. Year 3 is the way into a club, where we stay with them until they are on the pitch with a team of their own.

History
Den Rosa Sko started in 2016 in partnership with Bjerke upper secondary school, which has been the pilot school from day one. The goal now is to bring the model to more parts of Norway, together with more upper secondary schools that offer sports programmes.
