The school project
Year 13 sports students from Bjerke upper secondary teach PE to third graders at primary schools in Oslo, based in Groruddalen.
They visit each school in groups of five. The focus is on football – and of course plenty of play.
How the school project runs
Weeks 41–9
The sports students go out to the partner schools and run four sessions per school with the third-grade girls. The focus is an introduction to activity, with football at the centre.
Weeks 10–11
All the sports students go back out to every school for two fun review sessions, focused on getting the girls ready for the Big Rosa Sko Day.
